We were ecstatic to wake up to a sunny day in Lucerne and a quick breakfast later headed to Engelberg, home to the famous Mt. Titlis.
On top of snow covered mountains, everything makes sense.
As we oohed and aahed our way up to the peaks in Rotair 360 - the world's first revolving gondola, we were upbeat and ready to jump into all the snow-clad craziness Titlis had to offer. We walked on the suspension bridge past the howling winds, sledded down the slopes in animated squeals and giggles, rode the ice flyer looking down at the nature's magnanimous splendour and almost froze inside the blue lit glacier cave.

"The snow reminded me of the beauty and mystery of creation, of the essential joy that is life."
- Orhan Pamuk
As I stood there, a little out of breath after a round of sledding and walking up the snowy steep, I could not help but marvel. Pristine white sheets covered the mountains as far as my eyes could see. And I was there. In that moment. No picture can capture that feeling. After fifteen minutes we decided to head back.
On our way back, we came across Lake Trubsee, a mountain lake sitting at the foot of Mount Titlis. It was love at first sight. To see perfect reflections of the imposing mountains in the lake, breathe in the silence and just sit there without a care in the world - that is what heaven feels like. I can say that now!
I really didn't want to leave Trubsee but the cable car down to Engelberg was about to close down in few minutes and we lingered till the very last minute we possibly could before rushing back.
Back at the base, we gorged on some hot samosas and chai at Spice Bistro, the Indian restaurant strategically placed to cater to the many hungry tourists who come down from Titlis looking for a quick bite.
And that's how we rocked day 3 of our #SwitzerlandTravels

Swiss chocolates and the famous watches are we generally know about Switzerland apart from Swiss banks. But you have taken us through a snow clad stride through the alps.
